Chicago Daily Law Bulletin Highlights Frank Morrissey in $1.5 Million Dyskinesia Verdict

The February 25, 2014, edition of the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin quoted Frank Morrissey of Wise Morrissey, LLC on the first reported plaintiff verdict in at least 25 years in a case involving medication that led to tardive dyskinesia. A Cook County jury awarded $1.5 million to an autistic man who developed the involuntary movement disorder during his youth.

The article pictures Morrissey who represented Michael Angel. Morrissey argued that if the child’s psychiatrist had seen the warning signs of the condition, the child could have been taken off the drugs and the condition would not have become permanent.
